Your wish can come true ... a battle going on for hours and hours, an epic fight with some of the most experienced PvPers out-of-game, tons of people blobbing one system and it is all totally lag free ... the Copenhagen GankatonÖ Part 8. We are going to stay with our proven and well working strategy of meeting up at suitable bar in Copenhagen and there enforce our macro drinking tactic until the bar is depleted for beer, vodka, and well ... milk. After that bar is stripped for resource TornSoul, and who ever is capable, will move on to the next system, and repeat the process. LFC and M-Corp have already public announced that they will show up in force. When: Saturday the 14th of October, starting at 2000 local Copenhagen time Where: Not decided yet, but we have a serious expert(Treebeard dk) working on figuring that out The GankatonÖ is founded, arranged and sponsored by Clipped Wings(3rd front), Einheriar Ulrich (LV), Golan(MC), Lacrimae(3rd front), TornSoul (BIG/RISE) and well me. But it would not be what it is today without people like Count Tasessine, Treebeard dk and the noob in the red t-shirt Xuina Torre, and you other great guys with names I cannot spell. USS Omaha finally gave in à in other words we stick to the 14th October. In reality it will properly just mean that we start warming up on the 13th and closes in the early morning on the 15th October. BUT of cause expect everyone to gather at TreebeardÆs place at 2000 on the 14th .

Details are to be work out by our noob in the red t-shirt ... right XT? The unstoppable TornSoul gang will most likely be able to set course directly from some local bar to the netcafe ... or? To get into the netcafe event you will beside being sober also need a balloon hat. - Glad

Fantastic to see all you guys, making your way to the GankatonÖ Besides talking to (one of the few) people that I have actually podded, one of the best thing by these GankatonsÖ, are to meet up with you guys traveling in from other countries Lots of thanks goes to the biggest Pod pilot in EvE mister Treebread, both for helping me out by setting the coordinates for the GankatonÖ, and arranging the good deal on the beer. Treebeard, I actually owe you a couple of beers for taking that task, or would you prefer Jagermeister? Thanks also go to Lacrimae for keeping people listed, inline and doing stuff behind the scene. BTW as Einheriar Ulrich properly mentioned, your new haircut looks really good, maybe you could parse the business card of your hairdresser to Clipped Wings Einheriar Ulrich tried hard to get some reliable numbers on the pod pilots in the system, and came up with something in the area of 80. Personally I would not put too much confident into this number as he was fairly high flying. Anyway also thx to you EU for the help. Most disappoint thing during the evening was properly that Golan did not bring heÆs infamous extreme yellow jacket ... Yellow jacket or not it is always good to encounter the Admiral, my oldest enemy in EvE Sir Jojo great to final see you at a GankatonÖ, and btw you are always welcome to bring you RL corp m8s again. At some point some guys and I decided that we should at least give it a try and see if we could make the bar run out of White Russians, we did some really good work, but did not succeed à I cannot remember the names of these guys, sorry à but they are properly happy if they by now can remember their names them self. It is bit of an assignment to pick a good place for a Gankaton, I know it as I have former been on that task. You need a place which: 1 û Must be able to take in the area of 100 people on a Friday or a Saturday 2 û The music must not be too high 3 - The beers must not be to expensive 4 û It should be central Copenhagen 5 û It should be free to get in 6 û There should not be too many outsiders 7 û The air should be okay ... not too many smoking Even that we have not yet been able to find a place which making everyone happy, then any of these Gankatons have been great great fun à we will of cause continue our search for just the right place If you have ideas then plz feel free to drop me an eve-mail - Glad
